FAQ

What are your rates?

This depends on the project! Things like: amount of background detail, amount of characters, where the illustration will be used and whether the job is quick turnaround or not. Please contact me via email and include as much detail about your project as you can including your own budget (this helps me to find a good middle ground where the two cross). Please do not contact me in regards to working for free, or for a very small budget where a UK living hourly wage is not considered.

For creative consultations, my rate is £35 p/h.

Do you do privately commissioned artwork?

Yes. I can create something custom for you, a friend or a family member! Contact me and tell me exactly what you have in mind (and again, it helps to mention budget as I can let you know what is doable within that!)

Do you do 'work for hire' (sell the copyright to your illustrations)?

No, not usually. Unless the job type calls for this (such as branding or logo illustrations) I prefer to retain the copyright to my work. Fees for this can be negotiated.

Is it a problem if your client is overseas?

Not at all! I absolutely love working with overseas clients and schedule frequent video meetings for feedback or just to touch base and communicate, as well as regular e-mails. Time difference is never an issue.

Do you work traditionally or digitally?

I primarily work digitally, but have had lifelong experience in watercolour, gouache, pencils and other traditional media. Sometimes I like to mix them all together!

Where can I buy prints?

I currently have a small Etsy shop, but if you see something you like on my Instagram or portfolio that isn't available there, let me know via e-mail and I will make it into a print for you.

Are you represented?

No, but I am currently working on projects for my portfolio and hope to start seeking representation soon! If you are an agent, I would love to hear from you.
